Class: I've Got Rhythm (ages 5 to 7)
Day: Wednesday 4:30 - 5:30pm Jan 18 - March 7, 2012 Teacher: Faith Sherman *No more registration being taken; class is full Students learn about music, singing, movement, and rhythm. Theatre games will be used to teach improvisation and imagination. Students will learn songs from musical theater and will sing and dance in an ensemble student showcase. Class: Getting to Know You (ages 6 and 8) Day: Thursday 4:30 - 5:30pm Jan. 19 - March 8, 2012 Tuition: $133 + $20 registration fee >(Registration fee waived for Storybook Season Subscribers; save $20) Teacher: Linda Huff Students acting skill through theater games, and activities. Creative dramatics and creating characters is used to get students over the fear of performing in front of others. The class will work on scenes that will be performed in a student showcase. Class: Make Believe (ages 5 and 6) Day: Saturday 9:45am - 10:30am Jan. 21 - March 10, 2012 Tuition: $133 + $20 registration fee >(Registration fee waived for Storybook Season Subscribers; save $20) Teacher: Hannah MacLeod Students are introduced to the stage to develop confidence and speaking skills. They explore dance, song, theater games, costumes, props, and just plain fun. The class will perform their make believe in a student showcase. |
