Storybook Musical Theatre operates under a Theater for Young Audiences contract with
Actors' Equity Association. Founded in 1913, Equity represents more than 45,000
actors and stage managers in the United States. Equity negotiates wages and working
conditions, providing a wide range of benefits, including health and pension plans.
Equity seeks to foster the art of live theatre as an essential component of our
society.
This project was supported by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state
agency, through its regional arts funding partnership, Pennsylvania Partner in
the Arts (PPA). State government funding comes through an annual appropriation
by
Pennsylvania's General Assembly and from the National Endowment for the Arts,
a federal agency. PPA is administered in this region by the
Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance.
